Exway's high performance department, Ace Lab, has been hard at work behind the scenes developing the Ace Gear Drive, and incredibly heavy duty and powerful all-terrain drivetrain for the Atlas Pro.
Rugged and Reliable.
CR-MOLY Steel Gears. Chrome molybdenum steel and combined with a variety of strengthening and hardening processes, these gears outperform composite materials like POM in durability and precision by a wide margin.
Helical Cut Gears. Stronger, quieter and more efficient than transitional straight cut gears.
Thrust Bearings. The Ace Gear Drive uses thrust bearings designed to handle large amounts of axial force.
CNC Alloy Housing. A fully enclosed gearbox ensures the gears and lubricant housed within stay uncontaminated through its working life. The Ace Gear Drive gets a CNC-machined 6061 aluminium alloy gearbox for the most precise seal possible.
Super-Damped Gearbox. The ace Gear Drive uses damping pads to prevent premature wear from high frequency vibrations.
Heavy Duty Protection
Alloy Motor Cage. A strong and lightweight barrier protects the pair of motors from knocks and large debris.
Replaceable skid plates. Designed to take a beating, the bottom brackets from with easy-to-replace skid plates.
Lubricant Fill Port. The Ace Gear Drive has a conveniently accessible lubrication fill port to keep the gears running smoothly.
CNC Mudguard Bracket. Lightweight, strong and easy to install.
